Cauliflower pepper fry

INGREDIENTS

cauliflower cut into big pieces, after soaking in water with salt to remove the insects -   2 cups
onion  2  finely chopped
tomato   1  finely chopped
salt to taste
pepper pdr. to taste
turmeric pdr.  1/4 tsp
oil  2 tbsp or as needed
cumin/ jeera   1 tsp
bay leaf/ tejpatta  1
cloves 2
cinnamon 1/2 "


METHOD

In a heavy bottomed pan, heat oil, add bay leaf, cloves, cinnamon, once nice aroma comes, add cumin
after cumin crackles, add onion, fry with wee bit of salt till translucent
add tomatoes, turmeric pdr. ,cauliflower,  fry till all are well cooked, sprinkling little water or after a minute of adding cauliflower, you can cover & simmer, till done, stirring in between to check
when almost done, sprinkle salt & pepper pdr. to taste, mix well, till well cooked
serve hot with roti/ rice
