Beetroot- carrot halwa

INGREDIENTS

carrot grated  1 cup
beetroot grated   1 cup
milk   1/4 cup'
sugar   1 cup or less as per taste
ghee 1 tsp
cardamom pdr.  1/2 tsp
raisins roasted
nuts roasted
rose petals for garnishing

METHOD
in a heavy pan, add beetroot & carrot, cook till the water evaporates, stirring continuously
then add milk, cook on low flame stirring till milk gets fully absorbed
add sugar, cook till it thickens, add ghee
remove, add cardamom pdr, mix well, you may add fried nuts & raisins & garnish with rose petals crushed.
