GINGER CHUTNEY


Ginger chutney  

Ingredients

grated/ chopped ginger 1 tbsp   
tamarind extract 1 cup     
sugar 1 tbsp    
 salt to taste
Spices- oil 2 tsp   
 black-gram dal(udad dal) 1tsp     
fenugreek seeds 1 tsp     
mustard seeds 1 tsp
Cumin seeds ½ tsp    
red chillies 5        
pepper corns 2

Method
Fry all the above spices in oil. Grind them with ginger, tamarind, sugar & salt to a smooth paste.
