BOTTLE GOURD ( LAUKI//GHIA) BARFI

INGREDIENTS


2 cups lauki/ bottle gourd/ ghia (grated)

1 ltr milk

1 cup khoya/ mawa

1/2 cup sugar

1 tbsp cardamom powder


cashew nuts for garnishing


METHOD

Boil the milk in a pan. Add the grated Lauki in boiling milk. 

When half of the milk is left, add khoya, sugar 

When the froth starts leaving the side 

of vessel, add cardamom powder, mix well.

Transfer it in an pre-greased  tray and cut it into pieces 

after an hour. 

Garnish with cashew nuts. 

Lauki ki Barfi is ready to serve.
