Quick Onion Pakoras

INGREDIENTS
 left -over rice  2 tbsp
besan  3 tbsp
rice flour 2 tbsp
onion 1 big or 2 small finely chopped
salt to taste
green chilies finely chopped to taste
curry leaves 1 sprig finely chopped
hing little
ajwain/ carom seeds little
oil for frying

METHOD
mash well rice, add besan and rice flour, hing, salt, green chilies, curry leaves, onion, mix well.
If need be dd little water to make stiff dough for pakora
Heat oil, once hot, make small pakoras ( I normally take quite a bit in my hand, break into bits in hot oil) as no perfect shape is needed, fry in hot oil till golden all over.
Drain and serve hot . It tastes good plain with tea/ coffee or you cna serve with chutney of your choice.

Notes- I actually made this now, but forgot to take photo, as I was in a hurry to finish my work in the morning, go for lunch. As after lunch, feel tired to make it at tea time. So, after just finishing with our tea and coffee, I thought I'ld share this easy recipe. As at times, little rice gets left over and I for one, hates wasting food.
1) There is no hard and fast rule about rice or flours, quantities can vary slightly.
2) You may even add some peanuts and follow the same procedure, though I wanted to do that, forgot, as I was doing some other work at the same time.
