SPICY POTATO PURIS

INGREDIENTS
 Potatoes  , boiled and mashed  1 cup
 Wheat flour    1 1/2 cups
 Garlic  minced  4 cloves ( optional)
 Coriander leaves finely chopped 2 tbsp
 Dry mango powder /amchur 1 tsp  
 green chilies finely chopped 1 tsp or to taste

 Turmeric powder   1/2 tsp
 Cumin seeds/ jeera 1 tsp   
 Salt     to taste

oil   for  frying


METHOD
mix flour with spices, turmeric pdr., jeera well, add mashed potato, mix well( add garlic if desire)
knead the dough adding little water if needed to make dough like for puris. rest for 10 minutes.
heat oil, roll into small puris, deep fry till golden brown on both sides.
drain well in absorbent paper towels, serve hot with mixed vegetable raita and dal to make a complete meal. Or if going for picnic or traveling, you may make puris spiced, so it can be eaten plain and wash down with cool lemon juice or lassi !
