Ingredients
oats 1 cup
peanuts 1 cup
poppy seeds ( kaskas) 2 tbsp
gur/ jaggery 1/2 - 3/4 cup
roast peanuts & coarsely powder it with skin, as it is said the skin of peanuts has many nutrients.
roast oats & crush it too.
roast poppy seeds too.
In a pan, heat gur with wee bit water, strain it once gur melts. Then reheat it, till when you drop a bit in cold water, you can roll it like a ball. Then add all the ingredients, mix it well.
In a greased plate, pour the mixture, after a minute or two cut it into desired shapes.
For this amount you get around 20-25 chikkis the normal size.
