BREAD UPMA


INGREDIENTS

sandwich bread   1 medium ( or if you've bread corners cut after making sandwiches, use it)
onion   3 big finely chopped
tomatoes   3 big finely chopped
capsicum  2 finely chopped
curry leaves few finely chopped
coriander leaves finely chopped 3 tbsp
oil 3 -4 tbsp
salt to taste
green chillies 4-5 finely chopped
mustard seeds  1 tsp
chana dal 3 tsp
udad dal  3 tsp
hing little

METHOD

heat a big kadai/ heavy pan, add oil, once hot, add mustard seeds, as it crackles, add dals, once golden, add hing, curry leaves, sauté for few seconds, add onion, green chillies, fry till onion is transparent, add capsicum, fry for 2-3 minutes, add tomatoes, fry for another 3 minutes, salt to taste
 add bread cut into small pieces or bread corner that you've, stir well for the masala to coat it well, sprinkle little water, if you feel bread is too dry, or cover it & keep it for 2-3 minutes, adding some coriander leaves.
mix well, remove, serve hot by garnishing with the remaining coriander leaves.
