Ingredients
  • 2 cups fine rava/semolina/suji
  • 1 cup grated coconut
  • 1-1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 10-15 cashew nuts
  • 1 cup ghee or as required
  • 1/2 tsp cardamom powder
Method
  • Dry roast the rava till you get a nice aroma.
  • In a pan, heat some ghee and fry the grated coconut till they're light brown.
  • Chop the cashew nuts finely and fry them in ghee.
  • Heat the ghee.
  • When it gets hot, mix the rava, sugar and grated coconut with roughly half the ghee, mix & see if you can make laddus, if not add some more ghee, mix well .
  • Add cashew nuts and cardamom powder and mix well.
  •  form small balls/ laddus. Or you can garnish each ball with a piece of roasted cashew nut.
ps- you can avoid coconut, then add less sugar.
