Rava/ Semolina Idli

INGREDIENTS

Rava 1 level cup

thick curd 2 cups level

Salt 1 ¼ tsp

Baking soda 1 heaped tsp

Mix all very well, then keep covered for 30 minutes

If you find batter too thick after 30 minutes add little water ½ glass approximately.  To get right consistency adding ½ tsp baking soda, mix well

In idli plates, smear little oil and add a dash of ghee in each along with 2-3 cashewnut pieces and little coriander leaves, fill batter only 3/4th.

Cook on high heat for 5 min. and then on low heat for 5 minutes, remove, cool for 5 minutes, then remove easily with a spoon.
