kela subji ( raw banana vegetable)

INGREDIENTS

raw bananas 2 peel and chop small, put in water

oil 2-3 tbsp

mustard seeds 1/2 tsp

urad dal 1 tsp

chana dal 1 tsp

hing little

turmeric pdr 1/2 tsp

chili pdr 1/2 tsp or to taste

salt to taste

METHOD

heat oil 2 tbsp, add mustard seeds, once it crackles, add the 2 dals, fry till golden, add hing, turmeric and chili pdr, drain the banana pieces, add along with salt, mix well, cook covered for 2-3 minutes.

stir well, depending on the size you've chopped, you've to cook longer if thicker, since I chop small, it gets cooked within 5 minutes, then I add more oil, as hubby likes it fried well.
