Caramel sauce apples with kuttu / buckwheat crumble

 Buckwheat/ kuttu crumble

kuttu pdr 1/2 cup

brown sugar 1/4 cup or to taste

butter 4 tbsp

cinnamon pdr 1/4 tsp

pinch of rock salt

Mix all well, bake in preheated oven at 180 deg C for 15-20 minutes, remove, mix it well.


In a pan heat 1 cup of sugar slowly for it to caramelize. Once it has turned brown, switch off the gas, had slowly 1/2 cup of cream, mixing well after each addition, once all the cream is mixed well, give it a good whisk.

Core the apple and cut into thick slices, dip the apple slices in the caramel sauce well to coat in on all sides.

Remove the slices in a serving plate, put kuttu crumble over it, add some sauce and serve.
