No grinding, quick crispy onion dosa

Due to shortage of times for most women who are working these days, but still want to make some healthy quick snacks which the whole family will enjoy. One such snack is crispy dosa, irrespective from which part of India you're.

All the ingredients we always have at home, so easy to mix and make.

INGREDIENTS

rice flour 1 cup

rava/ suji / semolina 1/4 cup

curd  1/2 cup

water 3 cups

salt to taste

onion 1 big finely chopped

green chilies to taste finely chopped

curry leaves 2 sprigs finely chopped

carrot finely grated optional

coriander leaves finely chopped 1 tbsp

METHOD

In a big bowl, add rice flour, rava, mix well.

then add curd and 2 cups water mix well, see that there are no lumps in it.

once well mixed, add 1 more cup of water, mix well, add salt , mix, cover and keep for 10 minutes.

In the mean time finely chop onion, green chilies, curry leaves, coriander leaves and carrot grated if you wish.

After 10 minutes, mix the chopped ingredients and mix well, the batter will be thinner than the normal dosa batter.

Heat a thick tawa, once hot, reduce heat, smear some oil all around

pour the batter , it will form small holes like rava dosa, don't try to mic and spread, cook on low flame adding little oil till crisp, no need to flip it, serve hot with chutney or gun powder / milagai podi.
