How does it work? Fill a glass bowl
with ⅔ water and ⅓ white vinegar and add a few slices of lemon, placed
it in the microwave and turn it on for 5 minutes on the highest
setting. When the 5 minutes were up, leave the bowl in the microwave
for 5 more minutes, to allow time for the steam to soften up the dirt
and grease on the microwave walls. Afterward, take out the water bowl
and wipe the insides of the microwave using a simple kitchen towel.
The Result: Impeccable! This is the perfect hack for the lazy ones - the
microwave does most of the work on its own. The vinegar solution
softens up the dirt that accumulates on the microwave walls enough so
that an easy wipe leaves it spotless and the lemons leave the appliance
smelling great.
