Easy Chocolate barfi /squares

INGREDIENTS
good quality cocoa pdr.  1 cup
butter at room temperature  1 cup
milk pdr.  3 cups
sugar  3 cups
water  3/4 cup appro.
nuts chopped as desired- optional
ghee to grease the tin / plate

METHOD
sieve well the cocoa pdr. and milk pdr.
in a heavy bottomed pan or non-stick pan, add sugar and water, keep stirring till the syrup get really thick. To test for the correct consistency, drop little in a small bowl of water, if you're able to roll it, then lower the flame, add the butter, keep stirring till butter melts, remove from flame.
Quickly add the powder mixture, keep stirring for 5 minutes till well mixed.
It will thicken, but will still be of pouring consistency, let it cool for 30 minutes.
In case, you love nuts, you may add it on top and as soon as you pour it on a plate or tin, or you can mix with the mixture before you spread on a plate.
Cool, cut into desired shape. Once you try this, you're going to love this recipe and keep making it, as the chocolate literally melts in your mouth. I got the recipe from our friend, who gave us few pieces. Hubby and self fell in love with it, so decided to make it and share with you all.
