Mango Halwa / Pudding

 maida being fried with ghee
 maida + mango pulp mixed
 final halwa, ready to eat
INGREDIENTS
mango pulp or mango pieces mashed  1 cup
maida / all purpose flour  1 cup
milk   1 cup
honey 2 tbsp
sugar / sugar substitute  3-4 tbsp as per taste
ghee 2-3 tbsp
nuts 1 tbsp chopped optional

METHOD
I had some mango pieces frozen, thought of making first cake, then changed my mind to make some halwa.
I added 1 tsp ghee, fried maida in that for about 4 minutes in low flame. I used a non-stick kadai.
I added the mango mixed well, added milk, cooked for few minutes, then added honey and sugar to taste.
As it started getting thicker, added 1 tbsp of ghee, stirred, added some nuts, added another tbsp of ghee, cooked for another 2 minutes on low flame, it all came together. I put it in a small box.

ps- mango, maida, milk all same quantity, sugar to taste

I made this, as I wanted to start the New Year on a sweet note. Best wishes to everyone out there for a wonderful year ahead, filled with loads of happiness, peace and success.
