 Ingredients
cottage cheese / paneer 250 gm cut into small cubes
tomatoes 6 big chopped
garlic pearls 4 ( optional)
ginger  1" chopped
kasturi methi crushed with hand  1/2 tsp
tomato sauce 1 1/2 tbsp
coriander pdr.  1 tsp
garam masala pdr  1/2 tsp
chili pdr. to taste
water as required
milk 1 cup + if needed
salt to taste
cumin seeds  1/2 tsp

Method
boil tomatoes in enough water to cover it, once water boils, cover and simmer for about 5 minutes till soft, remove, cool, grind with ginger and garlic if used to a fine paste 
heat about 1 tbsp oil in a pan, add cumin, once it crackles, add the ground paste, keep cooking on low flame stirring from time to time till almost dry, add tomato sauce, other spices, seasonings, cook for another 3-4 minutes
add water roughly 1/2 cup, once it boils, lower heat, simmer for 5 minutes, remove and cool
in another pan cook paneer in milk to get a thick gravy , mix with the other gravy once slightly cool and serve garnish crushing kasturi methi leaves and coriander leaves.goes well with rice, roti, bread, dosai, adai, plain sevai, appam.
