Dhalia Bisi Bele Bhath

Pressure cook these for 4-5 whistles and keep aside
dhalia  1 cup roasted till light brown
arhar dal  1/2 cup
tamarind juice  11/2- 2 cups
mixed vegetables chopped   1/2 cups
water 3 cups
salt to taste
oil  1 tbsp
turmeric pdr.  1 tsp

Masala to grind
coriander seeds  1 1/2 tsp
red chillies 3-4
saunf   1/2 tsp
peppercorns  1/4- 1/2 tsp as per taste
coconut grated  4 tbsp
tomatoes chopped   3 big

Method
in 1 tsp oil roast coriander seeds, saunf, peppercorns, add coconut and fry till light brown
grind these to a fine paste with chopped tomatoes
add the ground masala to the cooked dhalia and cook on low flame stirring from time to time for about 10 minutes
fry cashews in little ghee along with some curry leaves, season the cooked dhalia, garnish with some chopped coriander leaves.
Serve hot with some ghee, papad/ chips and some raita or potato sabzi.
