Drumstick leaves Podi/ Powder

 Ingredients

oil 1 tsp

chana dal 1 tbsp

urad dal 1 tbsp

coriander seeds 1 tbsp 

jeera 1 tsp

black pepper 1 tsp

dry red chilies 5

moringa leaves 1 1/2 cups

tamarind small  marble size

hing 1/2 tsp

salt to taste 

 

Preparations

wash moringa leaves, and let them dry

in oil roast the dals, red chilies and the other ingredients, roast well

finally add the drumstick leaves, roast till the leaves are crisp. add tamarind over the ingredient, mix well, then it is easier to powder it.

grind once cooled adding hing and salt.

store in an airtight container.

you can have it with idli, dosa, with hot rice and ghee, as these leaves are full of nutrition, fiber, proteins with dals, calcium from the leaves is good for bones and teeth.
