 Ingredients
potatoes big 2  peeled and chopped
carrot 2 peeled and chopped
salt and red chili powder to taste
hing 1/2 tsp
masala oats 1 packet 
oil 2 tsp for shallow frying

Method
after peeling, chopping and washing veges, I cooked it in microwave with wee bit water Or you can cook it in gas too. Then mashed it well, mixed while warm with masala oats packet, as there was wee bit water in the microwave dish, I added the oats and cooked for a minute, adding hing , salt and chilli powder, cool, shape  as desired, shallow fry in a tawa till brown on both sides and serve hot with chutney/ ketchup. It is healthy, as it has hardly any oil,  with this quantity I made 8 cutlets , which hubby and self enjoyed for our evening snack with coffee and tea.
