Healthy Oats Puliyodarai

Ingredients

oats  1 cup
water  3/4 cup
turmeric pdr.  1/4 tsp
tamarind paste  1 tbsp
salt to taste
green chillies  2-3 or to taste finely chopped
curry leaves few
peanuts  2 tbsp
urad dal 2 tsp
chana dal 2 tsp
mustard seeds  1/2 tsp
hing  1/8 tsp
fresh coriander leaves 2 tbsp

Method
heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds, once it crackles, add the dals, peanuts fry til light brown, add hing, curry leaves chopped fine ( or else people throw it, losing its nutrients)
add turmeric pdr, add water, tamarind paste, let it boil well, add half of the coriander leaves
add oats, cook till all the water is absorbed
serve garnishing with rest of the coriander leaves and roasted papad and cucumber raita
