Protein rich Soya cutlets

  

Ingredients

  • 1 cup soya chunks / granules
  • ¼ tsp turmeric
  • ½ tsp chili pdr
  • ½ tsp cumin pdr
  • ½ tsp garam masala
  • 1 tsp amchur pdr
  • ½ tsp salt
  • onion  finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp chili-ginger-garlic paste
  • 2 tbsp spring onion, chopped
  • ½ cup roasted besan
  • oil, for frying

  • Preparations
  •  
  • In a large bowl take soya chunks and add 1 tsp salt.
  • Soak in hot water for 10 minutes.
  • Squeeze the water out of the soy chunks.
  • Transfer the soya chunks into the mixer grinder and coarsely pulse.
  • Take the coarse texture of soya into the large plate.
  • Add turmeric, chili powder, cumin powder, garam masala, amchur powder and salt.
  • Add onion, chili-ginger-garlic paste, spring onion, roasted besan.
  • Mix well, ensuring all the spices are thoroughly combined.
  • Grease your hands with oil and prepare ball-sized cutlet
  • Shallow fry in hot oil. You can also roast or deep-fry.

  • Serve hot Soya cutlets with green chutney.
