Wash the strawberries gently and pat them dry with paper towels or a clean kitchen towel. I prefer to cut off the green tops. Break the milk chocolate into small pieces and place them in a heatproof bowl. Set the bowl over a pot of simmering water (but ensure the bowl doesn't touch the water).
Stir occasionally until the chocolate is fully melted and smooth. Choose small dessert cups, mason jars, or glasses to serve the strawberries in. Place few whole strawberries into each cup, depending on the size of your cups. Pour the melted chocolate over the strawberries in each cup, ensuring the chocolate covers them well and letting it drip down the sides a little.
Dig right in! There's no need to let the chocolate set—just grab a spoon or fork and enjoy your delicious, indulgent chocolate-covered strawberries straight away!
- You can melt the chocolate in the microwave in 20-30 second intervals, stirring in between until smooth.
- If you prefer, you can refrigerate the cups for 5-10 minutes before serving.
- Feel free to use any preferred type of chocolate, whether dark, milk, or white chocolate.
