Sugar Pumpkin Puree

This pumpkin homemade 1-ingredient puree will be perfect for pies, bread, as a dip or a topping, or in any recipe that calls for pumpkin puree. The secret is to specifically use a sugar pumpkin, and that will do all the magic. 

Ingredients for pumpkin puree:  
Sugar pumpkin - 1 (halved and seeded

Method of preparing the pumpkin puree: 
Line a baking sheet and heat oven to 400°F. 
Bake the pumpkin for 35-40 minutes. 
Let cool down and manually remove the skin. 
Cut pumpkin into chunks and blend in the food processor. 
 
Tip: This will last you up to a week in the fridge and a year in the freezer.
